BACKGROUND Seventeen years teaching Spanish to students at all grade levels. More than 25 years of professional Spanish interpreting and translating. Native of Colombia, South America. Fluent in English and Spanish. Between April of 2012 and July 2013 I lived in Medellín-Colombia.

• Grandview Preparatory School - Delray Beach, FL (August 2014 to present) Teaching Spanish to students from pre-k 3 to 6th grade.

• Bishop Moore High School - Winter Park, FL (December 2013 to June 2014) Serve as a Spanish substitute for grades 9 through 12

• Annunciation Catholic Academy – Altamonte Springs, FL (July - September, 2013) Served as stand-in instructor for grades 3 through 8 during the regular Spanish teacher’s maternity leave.

• Heathwood Hall Episcopal School - Columbia, SC (August 2010 - 2012) Teaching Spanish to 5th and 6th grade students. Planned and coordinated a “Cinco de Mayo” event to celebrate Hispanic heritage through traditional songs and dances.

• Cardinal Newman - Columbia, SC (July 2009 - 2010) Teaching Spanish to students from grades 9-12.

• St. John Neumann School - Columbia, SC (August 2005 June 2009) Established school's first-ever Spanish program. Created curriculum for all grade levels (pre-k4 through 6th grade). Conceived, planned and produced annual, school-wide "Cinco de Mayo" event.

• Heathwood Hall Episcopal School - Columbia, SC (August 2004 - May 2005) Taught Spanish to 5th and 6th grade students.

• Saint Joseph Catholic School - Lakeland, FL (Aug. - Dec. 2003) Served as stand-in instructor for school's regular Spanish teacher while she was on five-month sabbatical.
