fluid levels, as well as tire pressure, and body damage. Required to
insure the vehicle was clean both inside and out at all times.

inspection of vehicles for damage and mechanical defects. Both local

Drive assigned vehicles over an established route for performance and
durability under actual city and highway conditions. Insure that
vehicle tire pressure is at required level, check oil level, as well as
transmission and brake fluid levels at the start of each run. Inspect
vehicle to insure headlights, turn indicators,and brake lights are
working properly. Fill out a trip report sheet noting overall condition
of the vehicle, as well as any operational or mechanical abnormalities
that might occur during the shift. Experience with both automatic and
standard shift transmissions, and driven a wide range of vehicles
ranging from mid-sized cars to large SUV's. Have logged close to
100,000 driving miles for Boshart in the past 23 months with no tickets
or chargeable accidents.

Negotiated freight rates with emphasis on best value and service,
support plant Purchasing and Materials departments with inbound
routings for both domestic and international shipping. Worked with
various departments for setting up rates and movement of export
shipments. Documented,filed and resolved loss and damage claims against
carriers. Monitored motor carriers serving three plants for quality
assessment and service, documenting and resolving issues which impeded
the on time delivery of products to our customers. Part of a two person
team charged with setting up a door to door distribution system for
U.S. produced product shipping to Canadian customers and dealers. Have
taken freight claims to binding arbitration and received favorable
settlement, and also have documented and presented to United States
Customs imported commodities which resulted in a favorable finding and
a cost savings/avoidance in excess of $120,000.00 over a three year
period.

Started out as a stock handler on the production floor. Successfully
bid into the shipping department as a Shipping/Billing Clerk. The
entailed auditing load tickets and tags, invoicing the shipment,
issuing the Bill of Lading and notifying the carrier the shipment was
ready. This included L.T.L., Truckload, and rail shipping. In 1976 was
placed into the plant Traffic Department where I held the position of
Traffic Clerk. Responsible for maintaining the tariff files, taking
daily yard checks for both rail and motor. From that I issued a daily
rail, and daily truck detention report which became the record for
verifying carrier Billings for demurrage and detention. Eventually
assumed the function of Rate Analyst in which I performed prepayment
audit of all freight bills, working closely with plant Accounts Payable
to insure on time payment. Also performed the function of dispatcher
for the plant expedited truck and driver. Insuring that all time
sensitive local shipments were delivered and vendor pick ups were made.
