• Experience in metrology thin film and CD wafer measurement systems such as ASET-
F5X, SpectraFx 100/200, SpectraCD 100/200, SCD-XT/XTR, Aleris 8XXX, Spectra
Shape 8XXX, Spectra Share 9XXX, and Spectra Shape 10XXX series systems.
• Proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics,
laser, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineer.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex optical/electro/mechanical
equipment, computer systems, coupled with sophisticated software solutions.
• Respond to situations where field service engineers have failed to resolve complex
system performance problems, by providing written plans of action or hands-on

to complex field escalated issues.

start up to reliability tests include prototype, beta, pilot build and debug process.
• Ensure that the established engineering design verification requirements have been met
and provide technical feedback to DEs on spec modification, software and hardware
issues.
• Take ownership of the demo tools and facilities including support demos and maintain
tools in specs.
• Train and support personnel such as technical support, installation and field service
engineers.
• Identify failures and find creative/effective solutions, while meeting schedule and quality
requirements in production.
