Academic Project Profile:

Title : DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF UHF MINKOWSKI FRACTAL

ANTENNA

Description:

A concept of a minkowski shaped fractal antenna for a inset feed microstrip antenna is

designed and discussed. The developed antenna was found to operate at a UHF of 1.1Ghz, Which

is etched onto FR4 printed circuit board (PCB) with overall size of 77 90 0.8mm. The

comparisons of resonant frequency, return loss, VSWR, radiation pattern of different iterations is

noted down. The Fabricated Antenna is also tested by using a Vector Network Analyzer and the

results are in good agreement with that of simulations. The antenna simulation is done with the

help of HFSS (high frequency structured simulation) software.
