HighMark Construction Company, LLC, formerly known as CRC Design Consultants, is a full service

general contracting construction company which has specialized in capital projects for School Districts,

Counties, Municipalities, and Government agencies for the last 17 years. As Senior Construction Project

Manager, it's enabled me to work and gain valuable experience in all areas of the Architectural,

Engineering, Design/Build, and Construction industry. I have firsthand proven success in extensive

training of personnel, direction of construction document production & review, schematic design, design

development, construction management, meeting with consultants and owners, construction

administration, and ultimately overseeing a wide array of facility types throughout my career. To date I

have been personally responsible for the construction of approximately 60 million dollars in completed

construction projects and my combined experience has been associated with administrating the

construction of 250 million dollars in projects overall. HighMark Construction Company/CRC Design

Consultants has been my only job for the last 17 years. Listed below in no particular order are some key

duties I have actively performed on a daily basis or through the duration of each project. They include but

not limited to:

Manage the performance and assist in training Project Management staff and/or Team Leaders

with the job site.

Recruit other Project Manager, Superintendents, Field Engineers, Project Engineers and jobsite

administrative staff.

Try to meet or exceed profit projections for each project.

Provide oversight and/or support with developing preconstruction deliverables for projects.

Develop project work plans establishing operational priorities, assigning responsibilities, and

scope of authority.

Develop detailed scopes of work and buy-our plans in conjunction with Preconstruction and

Estimating staff.

Cost Control/Billings/Collections/Change Management/Monthly Status Reports.

Complete understating of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting.

Key point of contact with Owner and Architect & Consultants.

Challenge and support jobsite and self-performed or trade managed work.

Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, customer satisfaction

results.

Negotiate items during project including change orders, contingencies, and appropriate fee

enhancements.

Supervise completion of punch list and follow up all warranty work.

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

Develop detailed Project Contract status report.

Partner with Project Superintendent in development of a project site logistics plan.

Maintain thorough understanding of the Construction/Owner contract.

Oversee and prepare the pay request process.

Monitor project costs and Job Cost Report.

Analyze and forecast quarterly Total Cost Projection reports.

Implement and monitor training of all staff personnel.

Monitor project labor.

Review and approve material, forming system and equipment needs.

Assist Estimating in bidding projects.

Lead the project’s quality process.

Develop, schedule and lead project close-out processes.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, subcontractors and owners to

represent core values.

Implement all applicable Safety Programs and EEO/Affirmative Action Pro grams.

Contribute to business development efforts and participates in presentation preparation and

delivery.

Assists in preparation of responses to RFP’s and RFQ’s, when required.

Manage a relationship management plan with owners and key stakeholders in the markets we

serve.

Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and industry

influencers.

Oversee all Work in Progress and Development

Seek new Biding opportunities

Manage all submittal and RFI logs to ensure proper project flow.

Coordinate Material Testing for all projects.

INTERN ARCHITECT

V A ARCHITECTURE -McAllen, TX June 1992 to September 1998

Responsibilities included construction document production, training, red lining, and management. I also

contributed in schematic design, design development, client meetings, and construction ad ministration. In

my time with VA Architecture I was able to develop vital communication and leadership capabilities. I also

gained extensive knowledge with programs such as AutoCAD and presented to various school boards

and municipalities. All of which helped provide me with a sound foundation early in my career.

INTERN ARCHITECT

MBA INC. LUBBOCK-Fort Worth, TX November 1996 to August 1998

I was involved with a team -oriented design group in the design and development of various architectural

projects. During this time I gained valuable experience in all areas of project management and

administration, including but not limited to construction document production, schematic design, design

development, training new employees, meeting with consultants and clients, and construction

administration from award to closeout phase.

Some key attributes attained during my time as Intern Architect include the following but not limited to:

Lead the coordination with project designer in translating design into contract documents .
