Help hold for doctor and other technicians

Help with surgery prep: turning on oxygen, setting up surgery suite, and

administer premeds for some dogs per Doctor approval. Anesthesia monitoring
and recovering pets that are having any sort of surgery
Fill medications for clients per Doctor approval, and calling for pickup if
o
necessary. Along with going over medication with owners.
Preform follow up calls for both critical cases and non-critical
o
Preform blood draws, and catheter placements on both cats and dogs
o
Placing charges and medical information in each patients charts. Reading medical
o
history and placing in computer using AVImark system
Reading fecal, ear cytology, and in house urine results.

Making sure lab samples that are going out for the day are correct and put together
o
the drop box for the Idexx lab
Administer vaccines, and draw up vaccines
o
With Hospitalized pets, preform daily TPR, and medical progress reports, along
o
with changing out fluid lines or fluid bags, administering medications that could
be given orally or through IV
Preforming Various Kennel duties if needed such as: giving baths, helping with
o
morning, noon, and evening walks.
Helping maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the clinic
o
cleaning, sterilizing, and wrapping surgical packs and gowns, along with doing
o
alone instruments in pouches.
