Wifi controlled surveillance Quadpod – Main Project (B.Tech)

Duration: Team Size: Five

The objective of the project is to build a parallel processing- image compressor in JPEG2000 standard using CUDA.

The project employs CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) for the encoding of a .bmp image to .jp2 image which

parallelizing all the processes using GPU, so as to achieve maximum speed-up and efficiency.

Platform: CUDA Development Kit, C++, Shell programming.

Head gesture controlled appliances – Mini Project (B.Tech)

Duration: 4 month Team Size: Four

Controlling home appliances like light,fan etc using the movement of head.

Successfully executed it with controlling a led and fan.

Platform: Embedded system.
