Pre-Press

Responsible for the day-to day production of the pre-press department at Business Cards

Tomorrow of Illinois, a family owned wholesale printing company.

• Scheduled incoming jobs for pre-press, digital, and offset printing based on job criteria,

making sure jobs are delegated to the correct person(s)/department while verifying that

any incomplete or questionable customer orders are clarified with customer before being

entered into production.

• Proficient in most publication programs, including but not limited to InDesign,

Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Assured that our pre-press department was up to date with the most recent technology

and programs. BCT Illinois is a PC based pre-press department, primarily using Adobe

Creative Cloud programs.

• Implemented and maintained an on-line ordering program, www.orderprinting.com,

allowing customers to order products and view final orders in real time.

• Personally produced high visibility orders, from initial customer interaction to on-line,

digital or print ready files

• Responsible for the creation and acquisition of files for different types of foil and emboss-

ing dies based on job requirements.

• Daily interaction with clients from a customer base of over 2,000

• Responsible for the ordering of stock, pressroom, and digital pressroom supplies
