• Participated on new medical coding system planning committee as HR representative to conduct

Learning and Development – Managed team responsible for programs and system to meet identified
business objectives and employee needs
• Developed LifePoint’s first online Leadership Development resource website for Executives,
matching resources to LifePoint’s Leadership Competency model. Designed and maintained initial
Microsoft Sharepoint™ site.
• Championed need and designed LifePoint’s first blended-learning Leadership Development
curriculum, aligned with LifePoint’s Leadership Competency Model for hospital middle
management.
• Developed online courses using various course-authoring and assessment development tools
(Powerpoint, Articulate, SnagIt, Snap, and proprietary LMS software).
• Consulted with Employee Relations, Compliance and Risk Departments in situations requiring
identification and provision of Learning and Development resources.
• Partnered with clinical and non-clinical departments to identify needs and appropriate vendors for
rollout of learning content across the enterprise. For 2012, negotiated over $2.5 million in vendor
contracts.
Talent and Learning Management System – Managed team responsible for ensuring that the talent
management system supported LifePoint’s business objectives, processes and workflows, and for
compliance reporting
• Conducted due diligence, led evaluation team, and co-managed conversion from Plateau to
Cornerstone on Demand system for 56 hospitals and 25,000 employees that included Performance,
Succession Planning, and Learning Management modules.
• Managed Cornerstone on Demand, SkillSoft, HealthStream, and other third-party content vendor
relationships, including pricing and contract negotiations totaling over $6M.
• Developed and facilitated system administrator and end-user, facilitator-led training, virtual
training, and weekly “TouchPoint” virtual sessions regarding new system for 56 hospital system
administrators.
• Created or managed development of appropriate learning aids to supplement training.
• Collaborated with other HSC (corporate) functional departments to assess needs and recommend
system capabilities to support departmental objectives.
• Ensured provision of system reports required to track aligned goals, annual reviews, succession
planning, and learning.
