Description : A Karnataka state project which focused on decreasing the power losses and

requirements of the customers were also taken care off by segregating them into normal users or big

consumers like industries.

M. Tech Projects:

Name : Non-L inear Magnetostriction Transducer

Description : The Mini-project focused on showcasing the change in the shape or dimension of

magnetostrictive material during magnetization using COMSOL Multiphysics.

Name : Modeling & Simulation

Description : Modelled an OpAmp in MATLAB/SIMUL I N K with parameters like input

resistance,Open-Loop Gain, Output Resistance, Slew Rate, Unity Gain Bandwidth and Output

Resistance. Using the modelled opamp, entire signal f low path (for accelerometer) in

M ATLAB/SIMU L I N K including C2V converter, Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA), Sigma-Delta

A DC, Decimation Fil ter (CIC Filter) and compensation fil ter was simulated. The various parameters

of the individual blocks had been decided based on the specifications of the system.

Lab Exposure:

VLSI Design Technology Lab : Worked on Rivera Pro, Xilinx ISE, ChipScope Pro (using Verilog) with

FPGA’s being configured .

RF / M icrowave IC Lab : Operated ADS (Advanced Digital Systems). The analysis of the circuits have

been done w.r.t. the frequency response and stability. The fil ters were designed and the circuit

simulation as well as the layout simulation was done.

Semiconductor Processing and Characterization Lab : T he devices like diode and the semiconductor

p rocesses like oxidation and ion-implantation have been simulated using SILVACO. The effects of

doping profile, temperature, implantation energy, etc. have been analyzed. The lab also includes the

experiments like Physical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Force M icroscopy etc.

MEMS Lab : Worked on COMSOL to demonstrate various MEMS devices like Cantilever beam,

m icrogripper, etc.

IC Fabrication Lab : The MESFETs have been fabricated using GaAs wafer. Various process steps like

a lignment marks, defining active area, ohmic contacts, gate deposition, gate passivation and

formation of interconnects were taken care of.

B.E. Projects:

Name : Upgradation of Packet Pressing Machine in R/RF Armature Line @BOSCH

Description : The final year 3 member project focused at advancing the manually operating

packet pressing machine into an automatic machine with the help of Programmable Logic

Controllers (PLC) and ladder logic. The roles included evolving the ladder logic and including i t into

t he PLC, testing the entire functioning of the machine with PLC as well as projecting the project

f inally as the Team Leader.

Name : Pick and Place Robot

Description : The 3 member project included a mechanical robot which could relocate objects

to different places. Majorly involved in designing the robot and assisted in assembling i ts various

parts.
