Projects:
Name : Karnataka Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reform Program
Description : A Karnataka state project which focused on decreasing the power losses and
power theft and handling various assets like meters, t ransformers, etc. Power consumption
requirements of the customers were also taken care off by segregating them into normal users or big
consumers like industries.

M. Tech Projects:
Name : Non-L inear Magnetostriction Transducer
Description : The Mini-project focused on showcasing the change in the shape or dimension of
magnetostrictive material during magnetization using COMSOL Multiphysics.
Name : Modeling & Simulation
Description : Modelled an OpAmp in MATLAB/SIMUL I N K with parameters like input
resistance,Open-Loop Gain, Output Resistance, Slew Rate, Unity Gain Bandwidth and Output
Resistance. Using the modelled opamp, entire signal f low path (for accelerometer) in
M ATLAB/SIMU L I N K including C2V converter, Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA), Sigma-Delta
A DC, Decimation Fil ter (CIC Filter) and compensation fil ter was simulated. The various parameters
of the individual blocks had been decided based on the specifications of the system.
Lab Exposure:
VLSI Design Technology Lab : Worked on Rivera Pro, Xilinx ISE, ChipScope Pro (using Verilog) with
FPGA’s being configured .
RF / M icrowave IC Lab : Operated ADS (Advanced Digital Systems). The analysis of the circuits have
been done w.r.t. the frequency response and stability. The fil ters were designed and the circuit
simulation as well as the layout simulation was done.
Semiconductor Processing and Characterization Lab : T he devices like diode and the semiconductor
p rocesses like oxidation and ion-implantation have been simulated using SILVACO. The effects of
doping profile, temperature, implantation energy, etc. have been analyzed. The lab also includes the
experiments like Physical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Force M icroscopy etc.
MEMS Lab : Worked on COMSOL to demonstrate various MEMS devices like Cantilever beam,
m icrogripper, etc.
IC Fabrication Lab : The MESFETs have been fabricated using GaAs wafer. Various process steps like
a lignment marks, defining active area, ohmic contacts, gate deposition, gate passivation and
formation of interconnects were taken care of.
B.E. Projects:
Name : Upgradation of Packet Pressing Machine in R/RF Armature Line @BOSCH
Description : The final year 3 member project focused at advancing the manually operating
packet pressing machine into an automatic machine with the help of Programmable Logic
Controllers (PLC) and ladder logic. The roles included evolving the ladder logic and including i t into
t he PLC, testing the entire functioning of the machine with PLC as well as projecting the project
f inally as the Team Leader.
Name : Pick and Place Robot
Description : The 3 member project included a mechanical robot which could relocate objects
to different places. Majorly involved in designing the robot and assisted in assembling i ts various
parts.
