Employees of Bowcraft, Children’s and amusement park, ensure the safety of the occupants of each ride and the

enjoyment as well. Duties include: adjusting safety harnesses properly, operating the rides themselves, and judging

whether or not an individual is physically fit to participate in a ride (i.e. checking a person’s height).

Interns of Saint Peter’s University Physics Department first undergo training and studying of plasma physics before using

the equipment. Once interns are prepared, their duties include operating equipment, such as: electrodes, vacuum

chamber, circuit breaker, gas tanks (containing various gases such as hydrogen, neon, argon, etc.), the power supply, and

a host of other tools and chemicals. Interns, over the course of several weeks, study the behaviors of different plasmas byusing different gases, and manipulate the environment by maintaining the integrity of the vacuum chamber. Interns

collect data to analyze what gas best represents what is called a Paschen curve (from Paschen’s law), a function of

pressure and gap length (of the two electrodes between which the plasma would form).

As a secretary at the parish of St. Bartholomew The Apostle Church, one must collate papers, take calls from

parishioners, and assist clergy and other employees wherever needed.

As a custodian, one must carry out many obligations such as sanitizing the entire building (i.e. washing windows,

mopping floors, wiping down desks) and a variety of other odd jobs such as picking up litter outside, taking out trash,

waxing floors, moving heavy objects, and some demolition work.
