Factory Duties: Responsible for testing all HVAC units that
come off the line, examining all motorized valves are
functional, securing and testing for leaks in the water
line and all electrical circuits, everything is functioning
properly and making sure all units have been charged
correctly. Responsible for brazing refrigerant and
waterlines. Assist in electrical wiring and refurbish units
that have been shipped back. Foaming panels for makeup air
units, assisting, assembling unit bases and makeup air
unit.
Service Technician: Travel to the work sites to repair
service and start up. In the fields checking water filters
are clean for geothermal units and controls have been set
up correctly. Implementing programs into control board for
customer requests. My duties at the repair sites were to do
compressor and heat exchanger change out.
