Designation – Design Engineer – Engineering Department.

Work Responsibilities -

• Preparation and checking of General arrangement drawings and detail drawings for various projects

using AUTO-CAD, PRO-E or SOLDWORKS

• Design /Modification of products, parts as per customer requirements to achieve its function considering

interface packaging, manufacturing and assembly aspects.

• Design review, Selection of model, selection of all drive components for equipment.

• Approximate weight calculations for various components required for final equipment.

• Coordination of all design activities by using SAP and MS Project.

• Preparation of purchase requisition for drive and sprockets t andMaterial master creation.

Specialized Projects undertaken-

• Design Optimization projects-

100 mm pitch chain link optimization using finite element analysis to reduce material and cost.

Project guide of “Development of chain link (higher strength) for large capacity

conveyor”Introduction of alternative material with higher strength.

• Development of compact chain conveyor for small capacity applications.(Project was nominated as

innovation catalyst in Mahindra Innovation Awards)

• New Product Development - Heavy Duty Apron Feeder( involvement in all activities from proposal to

catalog)
