Endoscopy's EDI system and move that division to the Stryker Global B2B
platform. Designed the middleware and Oracle interfaces for Endoscopy's
transition including the following new features for Endoscopy.
. Implemented GS1 standards including Global Location Numbers (GLNs) and
Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs) to conform to the Universal Device
Identifiers (UDI) being mandated by the FDA.
. Transitioned all U.S. Domestic EDI customers to the Global Healthcare
Exchange (GHX)
. Added ability to bring in rush orders.

. Consolidated the EDI systems from Stryker divisions all over the world
into one centralized hub of data communications for Stryker

. Linked all Stryker distribution divisions around the world to the
Endoscopy division.
. Implemented Endoscopy's connection with the Global Healthcare Exchange
(GHX).
. Designed, developed and supported all EDI translations using both the
ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
. Worked with TrustedLink Enterprise to translate the EDI orders.
. Interfaced with Oracle 11i using the e-Commerce Gateway.
. Developed an auto booking program in PL/SQL to insert freight charges
in the orders and book them so that the orders came in without human
intervention.
. Partnered with GHX to develop their Global Fax system which uses
Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to scan faxed documents and
convert them to EDI so that the suppliers can import them
electronically.
