EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:
I have extensive experience in electrical engineering and construction
support related to power distribution/transmission systems for Saudi
Consolidated Electric Company, Petrochemical and Steel Industries, support
utilities, and other industrial projects. I performed diversified role as a
client, consultant and contractor. My responsibilities included design
development, engineering, execution, commissioning and technical support to
construction and maintenance groups of large complex engineering projects.
I have proven technical, administrative and business development
skills along with extensive team and leadership exposure in major
organizations such as NY, Techno consult Inc., Pakistan Steel Mill Corp.,
Ministry of Defense and Civil Aviation, and Royal Commission for Jubail and
Yanbu. Furthermore, I have completed large, complex engineering projects
with various premier consulting and contracting firms such as Bechtel,
Siemens, Ideal Electric, Sherman Engineering, Basil Inc. and LM Ericsson.
Engineering Experience:
. Developed detailed technical packages for various (Power Distribution,
Chemical, Petrochemical,
and Steel) industrial and other large complex engineering projects.
. Reviewed and approved various contractors' design as an Electrical
Specialist.
. Prepared technical specifications, material requisitions, BOM, and
conducted vendors bid evaluation.
. Developed electric infrastructure network, plant's major equipment and
electric systems, auxiliary system design, UPS, DC chargers,

engineering with DCS and SCADA related to power

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1. Project Engineer Electrical. Techno Consult Inc., New Jersey
June '02 - Present
Working with Techno Consult Inc., on water/waste water projects of the
Department of Environmental Protection, City of New York as follows:
A. Hunts Point WWTP -Carbon Addition Facilities, Phase -4.
Working with techno consult Inc. for Waste Water projects of the
Department of Environmental Protection, City of New York
B. Cat/Del UV Disinfection Facility
Provides drinking water after treating through ultraviolet rays. It is
one of the largest UV facility of capacity 2020 MGD. Salient features
of the facility include 54 UV reactors each of 48" with 210 LPHO
lamps. A power distribution network with two parallel 15 KV / 5KV
system redundant by 4 stand by generators each of 2000. KVA also
included 8 parallel redundant UPS of 500 KW each.
C. Wards Island WPCP-Plant Stabilization -2
Salient features of the plant are to collect, treat and discharge the
sewer collected from two boroughs of city of New York (Manhattan and
Bronx) through under water laterals from Manhattan and Bronx to the
main plant situated on Wards Island. Project included upgrading of
15 KV primary substation and installation of two new 5 KV substations,
blowers, main sewage pumps, RAS pumps, WAS pumps and related control
systems.
D. Flushing Bay CSO retention facility
Provides buffer to the sewer facilities of Flushing Bay/Queens area
with (20,000,000 G) of storage. Salient features of the facility
include VF drive pumps driver units, odor control system, 4 boiler
units of 1050 HP in total, highly advance telemetry network for flow
and over flow/discharge measurements. A power distribution center
equipped with highly advance switchgear and control system with SCADA
application for control and momentary status recording.
2. Electrical Designer Pyramids Engineering Inc. Ontario
March '00 - March '02
. Developed electrical specifications for an expansion project of
technical coating facility of Benjamin Moore in Burlington, Ontario,
and GEN Pharmaceutical Company in Etobicoke, Ontario.
. Developed complete engineering package for reconstruction of Dextran
Chemical products in Scarborough, Ontario.
. Completed design of load centers and illumination, grounding and
lightning protection, fire alarm and security systems.
. Supervised the execution of construction activities and certified
progress payment claims.
3. Sr. Electrical Engineer Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu
Aug '93-Aug '99
Worked as Senior Project Engineer at the water/wastewater department
consisting of the world's largest cooling water system, providing process-
cooling water to the entire industrial township of Jubail in Saudi Arabia.
Salient features of the plant's system and equipment include some of the
world's biggest pumps driver units (over 200,000 GPM), chlorinating plant,
pipeline laterals, gas turbo generators (40 MW), highly advance telemetry
network for flow measurements with SCADA application and control systems,
and a cathodic protection system comprising both sacrificial and impressed
current methods. Also involved in an expansion and upgrading project worth
over one billion US dollars.
. Prepared the basic engineering package for the world's largest
seawater cooling facility in Jubail.
. Completed the review of the detailed technical packages for a project
over $1 billion US, with SCADA application and state of the art (DCS)
distributed control system.
. Provided the engineering support for plant, de-bottlenecking studies
and implementation of its guidelines.
. Supervised installation and commissioning of advanced telemetry
network for flow measurement.
. Successfully operated and maintained the world's largest "through
cooling water system" facility for Petrochemical Industrial Township.
. Created and implemented preventive maintenance plan for electrical
distribution system, which comprised of transformers, switchgear,
control circuits, motor driver units, motor control panels,
transformer rectifiers and related control circuits.
4. Project Engineer Ministry of Defense and Civil Aviation, KSA
Feb '85-March '92
. Completed the review and approval of design, calculations and
specifications for constructability of large and complex engineering
projects for Ministry of Defense and Aviation, such as King Faisal
military air base in Tabouk with all strategic facilities such as
flight simulation, maintenance hangars, refueling facility and power
plant.
. Supervised the execution of King A. Aziz military cantonment in Tabouk
including power plant, wastewater treatment, 750-bed hospital, etc.
. Prepared capital and human resource allocation plans for
implementation.
. Completed the review of as-built drawings and final documentation.
5. Project Engineer SNA Saudi Ltd.
Jan. '83 - Feb. '85
Completed the design and execution of high voltage (34.5KV, 13.8KV)
distribution network that included transformers, switchgears, cables
and related protection system as a turnkey project of Arafat, Muna and
Muzdalfa, for Saudi Consolidated Electric Corporation.
6. Assistant Executive Engineer Pakistan Steel Mills Corporation
July '80-Jan '83
. Installed and commissioned 132kv XPPLE cable network and SF6
switchgears along with Siemens.
. Tested and commissioned 132kv Grid Station, Dispatch Center and "High
Voltage Cable Network" along with 18 Sub-Stations.
. Tested different power equipment and related control circuits.
. Supervised installation and commissioning of 220MW thermal power plant
and oxygen gas plant.
