Allstate Insurance Company

Unit Claim Manager (1990 thru 2013) Reviewed and evaluated the results and

performances of the number of claim adjusters assigned to me to increase

the productivity of the unit. I was also responsible for interviewing,

training and performance evaluations. Managed twelve to fifteen claim

representatives who at the professional level. They had a bodily injury

pending range from 100 to 150 files. My direct responsibility was to

supervise the quality of their files, to make certain that they were

adhering to company claim standards and guideline and that they were

settling claims within the authorized amount put on the file. High end

casualty coverage background with extensive experience in the higher

exposure claims. Resolved complex coverage issues such as declaratory

judgment actions, summary judgements and bad faith coverage issues. Proven

ability to communicate, interact, and work with the higher claim coverage

exposure plaintiff attorneys.

Casualty Staff Claim Representative (1983 thru1990)

Responsible for handling large pending, high exposure bodily injury claims

with a settlement range of $100,000.00 through $250,000.00. This position

required me to handle a voluminous pending range from 200 to 400 high

exposure files. That included declaratory judgement action, summary

judgments and bad faith claims.

Senior Casualty Claim Adjuster (1974 thru 1983)

Investigated low to medium range bodily injury claims and settle them

through a dollar range of $500.00 through $25,000.00.

Additional Experience:

I was assigned to various regional teams to discuss result driven

initiatives in claims. Such as, severity control/measures of reduction, 30,

60, 90 day pending reduction, and amending quality review standards.
