• Reported directly to the Director of Financial Operations with:
• Budget v. Actuals - Ensured the firm was always on budget, highlighted any variance and identified its
source. Designed and implemented new budgetary procedures allowing for increased transparency across all
departments, and for analytical processes to be run more efficiently.
• Daily Cash Flow - Utilized both SQL and Excel to forecast future expenses and ensure enough cash was on
hand to deal with short term liabilities. Created formulas which set parameters for borrowing amounts.
• Ensured the accuracy of the general ledger by making sure all expenses were classified to the correct account
and re-classed those that weren’t. Imported recurring entries with creation of csv files. Also filed all hard
copies of entries, keeping them organized and accurate.
• Ad-hoc financial reports as per request by management, and directors (Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Trans,
Department hours summary and detail, etc.) Created macros to automate many of these reports.

• Daily Cash Flow Analysis through formulation of Daily Cash Flow reports in Excel (bank reconciliation).

much to borrow. Prepared monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Assisted with month-end closes.
• Reconciled and offset intercompany accounts; also created ad-hoc reports for senior management and
partners. Ad-hoc reports mainly highlighted year over year sale changes per client, sales projections, costing,
profit margins, and pricing models for client work. Cross trained in all AR/AP functions, GAAP.
• Created budgets and forecasts, report actual against budget (variances), P&L statements. Reconciled work in
progress reports; Reports exported from financial software and reformatted for presentation in Excel.
• Led implementation of new financial software, creating all comma delimited files for importation of data.
