Responsible for the reorganization of Iberia and Portugal Operations.
Coordinate with all manufacturing operations the consolidation of products
and resources to maximize capacity utilization at all levels of Iberia and
Portugal Operations. Implementation of cost reduction strategies across all
Europe Operations.

Total profit and loss responsibility for automotive wire harness
manufacturing operations in Nogales, M xico and distribution warehouse in
Nogales, Arizona. Concurrently responsible as Product Manager from concept
and development to launch of new business. General Management

Electrolux Home Products Division 6/2005 to
12/2006
General Manager, EHP Mexico
Responsible for manufacturing and distribution operations for the largest
refrigerator plant in the world, with a total headcount of 3900 employees,
producing Side by Side, Top Mount and bottom mount units at a current pace
of over 7000 units per day. Total floor space is 1.8 million square feet,
with current responsibility for the construction and startup of a new
facility for the manufacture of washers and dryers. The new facility will
bring the total square footage to 3.1 million. Target production for these
operations will be 1.4 million refrigerator units and 1 million each of the
washer and dryer units.
Accomplishments
o Joined the operation shortly after construction of the initial
facilities. Managed and oversaw the installation of equipment and
startup of production.
o Achieved BASC and CTPAT certification
o Exceeded production and sales goals within the first 6 months of the
initial production year by 15,000 units.
o For 2006, by November, already exceeded production goals by 90,000
units.

machining operations in Nogales Sonora, and have another assembly plant
that was justified, constructed and opened in Los Mochis, Sinaloa. VP
promotion resulted in responsibility for Cass City operations. This
included responsibility for full P&L, cash flow, Sales, Materials,
Procurement, New Business and manufacturing operations.
o In 1 years, turned around business from a 8.3 million dollar
loss, to profit over 6.6 million. Headcount has been reduced from
3200 to 1350.
o Customer on time deliveries went from 56% to 100%.
o Raw material was reduced from 16.6 million in raw material, to 4
million in raw material and 4 million in finished goods.
o As chairman of the Walbro Manufacturing Council, developed and led
the process of implementing the Walbro Manufacturing System. This
concept was never considered before. Afterwards it was not only
accepted but was being implemented in operations globally.
o Successfully implemented ISO 9002 and ISO 14001.
o PPM's were reduced from 18,500 in 1999, to consistent level of 365.

operations in six facilities in Ju rez, Distribution Center in El Paso,
Texas and support to three facilities in Chihuahua, Mexico with total of
over 5000 employees. Clients included Honda, Toyota and GM.
Responsibility extended to indirect management of one facility under
contract manufacturer. Total annual sales in excess of $250 million and
facility size total of 485,000 sq. ft.
