Responsibilities:

. Handling virtual desktops virtualization based on ESXi platform

versions 4.0, 4.6, 5.0 and 5.5 for Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8

desktops. Pool creation and management and user assignment and allocation

from Vmware View Connection Server. VDI hosts management for VDI

deployment, cloning, migration and data-store management. Responsible for

end to end deployment and management of virtual desktop solution across

multi-location organization.

. Ensuring maximum cost efficiency from server virtualization from ESXi

servers. Handling various platform like RedHat Linux servers, Oracle

Linux Database servers, IBM DB2 server deployment, Sun Solaris, Windows

Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 and 2012 in a highly available virtualized

environment. Successfully deployed virtual servers in ESXi versions 4.0,

5.0, 5.1 and 5.5. Responsible for server migration, cloning across

offices as per business requirement and ensuring maximum uptime. Server

access deployment and snapshots management via vCenter Server.

. Responsible for Oracle database deployments in Windows and Oracle

Linux based platforms. Handling database tablespace management and user

management requests. Troubleshooting database connectivity issues and
