• Helps in performing technical laboratory analysis including blood chemistry, executive
panel tests, hematology, microbiology, microscopy, blood banking, immunology and
serology.
• Ensure accuracy and precision of test results through good laboratory practices.
• Receive laboratory orders from physicians and medical staff for various routine tests.
• Receive and collect specimen for various routine tests.
• Ensure proper sampling, collection and labeling of specimen.
• Log patient data with corresponding laboratory test profile following hospital standards.
• Perform phlebotomy tasks.
• Observe strict asepsis and infection and contamination control during blood extractions.
• Report test results to appropriate physicians and staff in standard format and in a timely
manner.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment.
