Professional Summary

While attending Covington High School, I have had the opportunity to acquire my Certified Nursing

Assistant certification. Working towards this certification allowed me to work with the sick, elderly, and

newborn babies. It also has helped to prepare me to reach my goal of becoming a nurse. I will be

attending Southeastern Louisiana University in the Fall of 2015, with the goal of obtaining first, my RN,

and ultimately, my BSN. While working towards becoming a nurse, I would like to continue to work in

the medical field, to continue to gain knowledge and experience.

Work History

CNA (voluntary) Work (2014/2015 school year)

During my Senior year, I have obtained my Certified Nursing Assistant certification. While training, I

worked in the Emergency Room and Nursery at St.Tammany Parish Hospital. I also spent time working at

Forest Manor Nursing Home. Since I obtained my certification, I have been working at St. Tammany

Physicians Network-Madisonville. Some of my job duties include calling people, taking blood pressure,

temperatures, and pulse.

Izzo’s Restaurant (Summer 2014)

Duties included preparing meals for customers, register work, and cleaning kitchen and dining area.

Townhouse Child Care in Mandeville (Jan. 2013 – March 2013 after school)

Duties included dressing infants and toddlers, changing diapers, working in various childcare rooms

with different aged children from newborns to pre-K, engaging in recreational activities with the

children, helping to clean rooms at end of day and working with primary teachers in any other way

they needed assistance.

Education
