Skills Used
Customer service skills. In a business where you are confronted with very angry people, defusing a situation
is important. In most cases, allowing the client to vent and relieving themselves from pent up frustrations is
all it takes. Being able to calmly explain the situation and providing them with a solution usually will make for
easier closing with the client.

In a male dominated industry, I used my feminism to my advantage. Leading a team of over 20 men, a polite
smile and calm voice usually did the trick, but the team learned very quickly that my small frame and good
nature was not to be confused for any weakness. When discplinary action was needed, it was distributed
quickly and justly.
Finance Manager/Sales
AutoTech Leasing LLC - Boca Raton, FL - August 1981 to February 2002
Responsibilities
Prepared credit applications for bank approval. Verified employment, income, residency and any other area
of concerns prior to loan submissions. Executed all loan documents and stipulations to conform with bank
approval to ensure a 24 hour funding.
Processed all automotive titles, u.c.c.'s to secure liens for proper parties.
Maintain insurance tracking on all leased vehicles, thereby protecting bank interests.
Finally, processing all lease end documents at contract maturity.
Accomplishments
Prior to my moving up from reception, at my start with Autotech, through various departments leading to my
position as Finance Manager, the bank funding process could take up to one week.
After implementing check lists and document qualifying forms, (which all sales reps fought against). I was able
to provide our lending sources complete document packages. This is turn created a better rapore with loan
officers, quicker funding and most importantly a faster turnover on our corporate funds
Skills Used
Determination. I was pretty young when I started at AutoTech, I was determined to pay attention to every detail
and navigate my way from one aspect of the business to another. I accomplished this and had a great time
learning everyday
