Internship at Reliance Industries Ltd, KG Basin (May 27-Jul 7, 2013):

Underwent an internship for 6 weeks at Reliance Industries Ltd, Kakinada and worked on a project

titled “sand production management using static and dynamic models” with the analysis of the rock

strength data from core tests and well logs and predicted the onset of sanding (in some of the gas wells)

with depletion of the reservoir due to shear failure of the rock using Mohr’s coulomb criteria.

Achievements:

Stood 1st in District and 2nd in State in Intermediate Board Exams.

Secured AIR-4027 in IIT-JEE (2009) and was among the top 2% of the aspirants.

Secured state level rank of 529 in EAMCET (State Engineering Entrance) & AIR 3176 in AIEEE.

Team Work Activities:

Case Studies:

• PETRO-PANACEA 2012: Stood in 3rd position in Petro panacea 2012, a Techno-management

case study competition conducted by Shell India

o Provided a solution for the development of an onshore oil field meeting the production

constraints with effective gas and water management and maximizing the oil recovery

• Submitted a Case Study on Coal Bed Methane field development to Shell India and stood among

top 5 teams.

o Analysed various aspects of the field and provided a Techno-Economic feasible solution for

the development of the field and for the Eco-friendly disposal of large quantities of

Carbon-dioxide and water produced, making use of the strategic location of the field and

dealt with the commercial aspects and also managerial aspects like stake holder

management.

• Presented a case study in the Petrotech Annual Convention cum National Symposium (PENS-

2012) and were among the top 10 teams.

o Estimated hydrocarbon reserves and provided Techno-Economic development strategy

with the design of suitable completion for flow assurance & design of artificial lift

Stood 1st in Mechatrecia (SRIJAN-2010- Annual Techno Management fest of ISM) for ingenious

design of a truss bridge.

Stood in top 10 teams out of hundreds of entries in Manthan – a national level event for innovative

solutions to the prevalent national problems
