Austin Energy: Worked as: Business Systems Analyst in Testing and Validation, IT department.

Duties:

Austin Energy Online Customer Care Portal Application: Web based Dashboard application developed by

IBM, using IBM Web sphere Portal Technology, for City of Austin Residents. These customers can log in

to pay their bills, view bills, start service, stop or transfer services and monitor their usage from time to

time.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Created Test Scripts, Test Cases and scenarios

• Executed Regression, Negative, Adhoc Test Scripts, and Generated Test Results

• Tested manually, and automated the scripts using Rational Functional Tester (Java)

Valsala Global Travels: Worked as: QA Tester& Business Systems Analyst

Duties

:

It was a global travel sale application, which replaced the previously existing application. The application

consists of different modules including Travel reservation, sales, Discounts, Tendering, Reports, Back

office, Cash Office etc. This application was developing in Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL server as back

end database.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Involved in Gathering Requirements with key users and acted as liaison between business users

and developer, and managed the Analyst Team.

• Responsible for ensuring comprehensive collection of requirements, and developing the

Requirement Traceability Matrix and ERP modules.

• Responsible for the testing area where the team developed functional and automated Mercury

test scripts.

• Responsible for developing Test Plan, Test Cases and Test scripts and successful execution of

test scripts using HP Quality Center and QTP.

• Tracked the Defects, followed up with the development team to verify bug fixes and assigned to

respective testers for closing the defects in Quality Center, and BugZilla.

• Generated test analysis Reports and Graphs using QTP.

• Organized project meetings between the developers/Technical and the Testers to discuss the

various defects during testing and prioritized the testing defects.

Acceptance testing.
