PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
May 2013 to Present
Bergalia & Associates
Assigned to Merrick & Companies- Denver, CO
Nana Worley Parsons, Anchorage, AK
Checker for grass roots crude unit in Montana. Responsible for checking
equipment, process, utility, and underground piping and skids units. I’m not only
checking for accuracy but sound design that will suit our client in operation of
their new facility.
Worked on core BP Alaska North Slope medium size projects. Projects include
pipeline replacement, and process facility projects. Projects varied from
appraise, thru execute phases.I worked closely with the client engineers, plant,
field engineers, and contractors. I was the lead designer or checker for most of
these projects. Used Autoplant and Autocad 2012 to model piping and
equipment isogen was used to extract isometrics.
June 2012 to May 2013
IT Network (Contract)
Assigned to GE Water and Process Technologies, Bellevue, WA
Bentley, Autocad 2010
Worked on grass roots waste water treatment plants. Modeled equipment such
as evaporators, pumps, filters and miscellaneous equipment for pretreatment and
process units.
March 2010 to June 2012
Bergalia & Associates
Bentley, AutoCAD MEP Piping Designer (Contract)
Assignments: Nana Worley-Parsons, Anchorage AK
CH2MHill Semiconductor Division, Portland, OR, Phoenix, AZ
CH2MHill Energy and Chemicals Division, Houston, TX
Worked on Alaska North Slope Capital Projects using Bentley software. Was
assigned projects and take it from a work order stage, coordinated with facility
engineers on scope of workwith field assessments and taking field dimensions
with no supervision. Either modifying existing drawings or creating new ones,
supply bill of materials for purchasing, weld bond forms. I was totally responsible
from the beginning of the project to IFC.
Modeled piping in (Autocad MEP) for grass roots semiconductor facility.Initially
joined the project early in the programming phase creating vendor drawings,
equipment arrangements, and building layouts.Responsible for routing piping for
Oil Free Air, Nitrogen, URO systems.
3-D modeled piping (Bentley), Cadworks 2010, extracted isometrics, created
plans, sections and details as well as checked all tie-in packages for existing
Shell Lubricants oil packaging facility. This piping involved piggable lines along
with all aspects of piping in blending and packaging facilities and a few small
engineering projects.
November 2008 to March 2010
Southwest Design Services
Bentley Piping Designer (Contract)
Assignment: Nana-Worley Parsons
ASRC Energy, Anchorage, AK
Modeled new pig launchers and receivers inside module buildings and utility
piping to interface with existing pipelines for BP North Slope projects.Created
plans, sections and details as well as extracted isometrics. Created EMR's for
materials and scope of work documents.
March 2006 to November 2008
Bergalia& Associates
Bentley Piping Designer (Contract)
Assignment:CH2MHill formally Veco Alaska, Anchorage, AK
Lead piping designer for several BP Alaska North Slope piping projects.
Generated new piping models to design piping manifold system located in new
module. On these models I created plans, sections, and isometrics along with
associated tie-in schedules, stress sketches, line list, demo drawings, and
material take-offs. Coordinated with fabrication and construction efforts.
Designed replacement of a water injection pipeline on Alaska North Slope.
Modeled pig launchers and receivers, located tie-ins to the existing piping.
Routed approximately 5 miles of 8 and 10 inch pipelines. Extracted isometrics
from model along with creating plans, sections and details. Compiled BOM’s,
coordinated with other disciplines and construction coordinators on the slope on
material and construction efforts. Also was assigned to pipeline project with
Russian company Rosneft in in the Vankor oil reserves. Interfaced directly with
Russian mechanical engineers to produce pipeline profile drawings.
May 2005 to March 2006
