. Upgraded the data center to Cisco Nexus switches for the Internal and
DMZ networks with Nexus 7009, 5596, and 2232 switches & fabric

Responsibilities included supporting the Rohm & Haas global data network,
VoIP, and wireless networks, consisting of Cisco, Nortel, Riverbed, and
Avaya equipment. Duties included support, network management, planning,
designing, and deployments of LAN/WAN/VoIP/WLAN networks. Special
projects included the following:
. Shanghai R&D Center - Designed and implemented the data, voice, and
wireless network for the new Asia Pacific Headquarters in Shanghai
to support up to 1200 people. Designs consisted of the LAN network
for VoIP, data, wireless, data center, and specialties networks
(DAN, PCN, & PAN). Implementation consisted of working in China to
act as technical lead during installation of equipment, such as
Cisco 6500s, firewalls, 3750 PoE switches, and routers.
. Taiwan CMPT plant - Designed and implemented the VoIP, data,
wireless, and specialties networks for the new Taiwan plant.
Project involved working remotely with the Taiwan locals to
configure and install the new equipment.
. Home Office Renovation - Designed and upgraded all the floors to
Cisco PoE switches to support VoIP, data, and dot1x wireless (10
floors).
. Home Office Data Center - Redesigned and upgraded the data center
to Cisco 3750 switches from Nortel/ BAY 450 switches.
. Designed, planned, and upgraded the following large
manufacturing/research campuses to all Cisco networking equipment
(routers, 6500 L3 switches, 37XX, 35XX & 29XX switches, and PIX
