Academic Projects
Watson Capstone Project – Ski Machine:
• Proposed a unique, multi-discipline, start-up idea which integrates a mechanical motion platform with a user tracking
system and virtual reality head set to truly immerse the user into a virtual skiing environment
• Designing a virtual ski environment using a program called Unity, which is a development platform that uses C#
programing scripts for creating 3D games and interactive experiences
Robotics:
• Programmed a robot in both C/C++ and VHDL programming languages using a microcontroller and a FPGA,
respectively, to autonomously solve a randomly assigned maze
• Designed a robot to play a capture-the-flag type game; programmed a robot to navigate around a game map and direct
itself toward certain light towers which use IR technology to communicate and ultimately capture the tower
Arduino:
• Designed a bike jacket with push buttons on the sleeves that activated an Arudino program that lit LED lights in the
shape of arrows on the back
