PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

1/12 - 5/15. Compass Professional Health Services

Senior ETL/SSIS Developer

At Compass I automated all file loads that would come to us

from many different clients. Automating the loads involved

the creation of countless SSIS packages created to download

the files, put files through extensive business rules

tailored to each client, validated the data to make sure

the key components were present, distributed the data to

the right tables in the data warehouse and produced

reports. In order to gather all business rules, I had to

interact with both, senior level executives and various

departments such as client services and business

operations. The SSIS packages are a combination of SSIS

tasks and SQL stored procedures. The packages were created

in Visual Studio 2008 and 2012. I upgraded earlier packages

to 2012. The file sources came in many different formats

such as csv, txt, xls, dat, pgp, zip, EDI files, etc. I

also created automated processes to login to the client's

SFTP sites to report on any files that were uploaded that

were not part of the medical claims files. In addition I

led a team of developers overseas and guided them to create

extra SSIS packages to load other types of files to support

the business. Besides SSIS, I also used SSRS to create

custom reports and TFS to manage package

changes/versioning.

10/09 - 1/12 Data Paradigm, Inc.

Applications Developer

While at Data Paradigm, I worked with their biggest client,

ACN. I maintained ACN's file loads which run twice daily

from compressed comma delimited files through an SSIS

package. I created ACN's Online Representative's Training

Tool using all aspects of the SDLC. SQL Server 2008

backend, Classic ASP and VBScript front end. Extensive use

of views, stored procedures, table triggers. Writing SSIS

packages for data loading from MS Excel for reps who view

training outside the app. Interfaced on a daily basis with

ACN's headquarters in North Carolina, Amsterdam, Australia

and South Korea, handling multiple web projects for each

region. I was also responsible for maintaining ACN's

Independent representatives' websites worldwide in 22

different languages. The sites run on SQL Server 2008.

06/05 - 10/09 ISIS, LTC

Systems Administrator/Software Developer

At ISIS, I built the company's MS Server 2003. Installed

and configured SQL Server 2000. I was the server

administrator. I setup backups, scheduled jobs, data

replication, etc. Besides the administration tasks, I led

the team in the creation and execution of the company's

Nursing Management Application. I created DTS packages to

manipulate data from SQL server and export it to a

government specific file for EDI transmission to CMS

(Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) I wrote many

stored procedures, database views, table triggers, etc.

06/03 - 06/05 Joint Systems, LLC

Systems Administrator/Software Development

At Joint Systems I managed a team to create various IT

projects, including Windows Based Networks and Web

Applications (ASP/VBScript, SQL Server 2000). On Windows

networking projects, I was responsible for managing and

executing projects from start to finish; gathering all

requirements for networks; putting together solutions for

the clients including planning, purchasing and set-up of

all hardware and equipment needed. I implemented both

Hardware/Software based VPN's. For Web Applications:

gathered requirements from client and put together a

project plan for completion. Developed various web

applications including database driven websites for e-

commerce and online cataloging. Responsible for Collocation

of windows servers and hosting of 120 + websites on IIS 6.0

and RedHat Enterprise 3

02/00 - 06/03 ePartners, Inc.

Webmaster/Search Engine Optimizer

I built the web server from the ground up and was

responsible for maintenance and updates of ePartners, Inc.

corporate website http://www.epartnersolutions.com. I also

Created ASP web applications for database entry on SQL

Server 2000. Created graphics using Paint Shop Pro and

Photoshop. Extensive use of JavaScript and DHTML for visual

effects. Established ePartners' CyberCash Account for e-

commerce. Full IIS 5.0 Administration on Windows 2000

Advanced Server. Performed all database tasks such as

creation, back-up, maintenance, scheduled tasks, DTS

packages, updates, etc. Created and maintained the

company's search engine positioning strategy, keeping

ePartners on the top position for key terms such as: Great

Plains Training, SalesLogix Training, ERP comparisons, etc.

Created templates for live reporting of daily website

activity with WebTrends Traffic Analyzer. Created Database

application as an add-on to Onyx for the internal network.

08/97 - 01/00 GTE Corporation (Verizon)

Technical Consultant

I worked as a consultant at GTE Corporation, now Verizon. I

created and maintained GTE's internal electronic library of

documents issued by the Business Response Provisioning

Center (BRPC) staff support. I converted all business

documents to HTML format from multiple sources including

word documents, PDFs and numerous hard copies. I created

downloadable zip files of all documents for offline

viewing; used Photo Shop and Paint Shop Pro for creation of

images and logos and Micrografx Simply 3D for animations

and rotating images. I also helped develop an Access

database to keep track of equipment testing performed by

TBS/Pilot Systems group. In addition to the above, I

supported the local department intranet consisting of 25

PC's running Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95; and helped to

maintain the local printers, scanners and storage devices.
