This is a 400 bedded care centre, which provides care to patients with

different psychiatric problems or disorders.

Duties and Responsibilities

. Assessing and talking to patients about their problems and discussing

the best way to plan and deliver their care.

. Building relationships with patients to encourage trust, while

listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns.

. Encouraging patients to take part in arts, sports and occupational

therapy.

. Ensures correct administration of medications, monitors the results,

and makes constant changes in the treatment according to the patients'

condition.

. Observes and reports behavioral changes.

. Works with patients' families to help improve the patient's abilities &

help them deal with family member's mental illness.

. Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely in a

Duties and Responsibilities

. Care of patients with acute cardiac problems like myocardial

infarction, CCF, arrhythmias and so on

. Experienced in handling equipment's like the Cardiac monitors,

ventilators, CPAP, defibrillator, Holter monitor, ECG, syringe pumps,

infusion pumps, pulse-oximeter, Blood gas analyser and glucometer.

. Assisted in intubations, resuscitation, central line insertions,

arterial line insertion, temporary pace maker (TPR) insertion& pleural

tapping.

. Demonstrate exemplary documentation skills by accurately maintaining

nurses' notes and promoting sufficient communication among care staff.

. Experience in administering Total Parenteral Nutrition, inotropes,

Blood products and antibiotics

. Inserting intravenous lines, drawing blood specimens as needed or as

per protocols.

. Care of patients on ventilator support, Assisted in intubations,

resuscitation, central line insertions& arterial line insertion.

. Accompany doctors on ward rounds and carries out doctor's legal order

promptly and intelligently.

. Administers medication as ordered by the Doctor (oral / IM / IV / SC /

topical)
