Axway (via acquisition of Tumbleweed) (Redwood City, CA)

. Ran load, stress, performance, benchmark, scalability and capacity

planning tests for Secure Transport Server (managed file transfer server

via SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPS, AS2) The Server is Java based and uses

MySQL DB to store info about the file transfer status and the files it

selves and runs on Windows, Red Hat, SUSE, AIX and Solaris and has Apache

Tomcat Web UI. Collected and analyzed memory, CPU and other system

resources usage. Measured and analyzed throughput for various data

profiles and Server settings. Developed and ran programs to simulate load

on the Servers using LoadRunner, OpenSTA, Perl and shell scripts.

. Ran functional and load, stress, performance, benchmark, scalability and

capacity planning tests for MailGate Server (spam, virus blocking mail

server). The Server is Java based and uses MySQL DB to store data and

runs on Windows, Red Hat, and SUSE.

. Performed manual and automated testing of MFT Server (Mail based MFT

Server (Java based) capable of scanning e-mails for spam, viruses, HIPAA,

PCI compliances and transferring/offloading huge (2GB) files/attachments

to MySQL or Oracle DB) using Java and TestNG.

. Performed manual and automated testing of VA Server (optimized digital

certificates processing server using OCSP and SCVP protocols) using Java,

Selenium and TestNG. The Server runs on Windows, Red Hat, SUSE and

Solaris and has Apache Web Admin UI. Ran load, stress, performance,

scalability tests for VA Server. Performed tuning of TCP/IP settings of

OS and VA Server to determine settings needed to achieve best performance

depending on a customer usage. Wrote shell and Perl scripts to simulate

the load with various types of requests.

. Performed manual testing of a custom plugin used for checking of digital

certificate status used for certificate based authentication on various

Web Servers: Apache, IIS, BEA WebLogic, Oracle iPlanet, Sun Java.

Installed and configured the above servers for SSL with client

certificate authentication.

. Tested ITA Bridge (Windows application performing events forwarding): UI,

functional, memory, and connectivity.

. Tested HIDS (host-based intrusion detection software that contains a

policy- and rule-based processing engine and provides real time

monitoring (system access, resource usage, and changes to files and

configurations), detection, and prevention of security breaches):

installation; disconnect session, disable user, process monitoring, kill

process functionality on Linux, HP-UX, Windows; developed Perl programs

to automate the testing.

. Tested SESA (Symantec Enterprise Security Architecture for large and

medium-sized enterprises that provides a common management framework for

monitoring and managing security-related events from Symantec Enterprise

Security products and third-party products): installation; events and

alerts functionality; utility for handling (moving, archiving, restoring,

support load testing of newly added functionality for various servers:

Web proxy, Notifications Push Server, Palm Wireless Groupware Server

(sending packets back to Web Proxy server in various intervals, options

to specify various parameters for requests).

. Developed Perl programs to create input files for Load Tool.

. Performed load, stress and system tests of various servers: Java based

server for processing mail requests received from PalmVII device via Web

Proxy Server, Java based Palm Wireless Messaging Server (enabling
