Responsible for managing and mentoring nine engineers and twelve technicians to include all

recommendations as well as developing yearly staffing plan.

• Virtualization POC done with a combination of Microsoft VirtualPC 2005/VirtualPC2007 and the
various free versions of VMware that sat on top of Windows Server. This was in the days before
the Hypervisor.
• Installed a new Compellent SAN in both primary and secondary data centers. Set up to support
both fiber channel and iSCSI connections. Fiber Channel was set up through a pair of redundant
20 port Qlogic switches. Installed the first four VMware hosts at each location during this time.
• Installed 12 Compellent SANs and a pair of Vmware hosts in 12 remote office locations.
Virtualized hosts at each locations. Most were done with VMware's P2V conversion tool. Many
of the large, critical servers were converted using our NeverFail Disaster Recovery software in an
effort to minimize outages.
• Installed and configured most of the approximately 50 VMware hosts in the environment.
VMware management was done through a linlked mode pair of vCenter servers. I have
additional experience building, upgrading and recovering vCenter servers.
• Was responsible for designing and implementing our DR/BC efforts using NeverFail . We started
with our most vulnerable sites. These were Washington DC, New Orleans, Mandeville and Baton
Rouge.
Our NeverFail environment supported 200+ DR/BC server pairs which were 99% VMs. This was

the largest single installation of NeverFail in the US
Successfully managed a 13 city replacement of the entire server infrastructure while
•
simultaneously converting from a Novell based environment to a Microsoft server based
environment.
Designed and deployed a firm wide 10 server RightFax solution to provide desktop faxing.

Responded to the 2005 Katrina event and opened a new office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in
•
order to keep our New Orleans operation functioning while we prepared to reopen our New
Orleans office.
