Supervise, mentor, and train 25 quality control inspectors for a tier one
automotive supplier. Audit daily processes and product. Create and update
work instructions and training forms as needed. Monitor SPC charts for out
of range data. Set up containment for non-conforming product, including
getting suppliers and 3rd party involved. Create corrective action plans
and determine root cause of issues. Provide feedback for nonconformances.

Ensuring that the Quality Control Department is lead in the right direction
throughout the plant start-up process. Responsible for a team of four
salary quality technicians performing destructive and non-destructive
evaluations. I'm pro-active in identifying tasks to maintain and improve
safety, quality and environmental performance. Ensure SSOPs and JSAs exist
and are updated for all quality tasks. Monitor SPC charts for
nonconformances and investigate as well as make adjustments to correct.
Ensure required training for Quality Technicians is completed and
documented according to policy. Ensure plant compliance with all internal
product specifications, certifying agency guidelines, and corporate and
business quality policies. Ensure all lab equipment has been calibrated and
up to standard with the APA regulations and maintain the certification
records. Ensure standardization through each shift. Keep up with inventory
of our equipment and our wax and resin to ensure it's always available. I
read and process collected data to make decisions on the quality of our
product and perform Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action when
necessary.

I had a hand in creating a strong quality control team through the plant
start-up process. Oversight of a team of 10 quality control team members.
Job consists of Root Cause Analysis,Corrective Action non-conformance
containment along with timely repair and confirmation. Perform routine
performance and process audits thru non- destructive evaluation programs.
Ensure product quality is within specification. Maintain detailed record of
quality defects and report any repeating issues. Execute lean manufacturing
practices along with continuous improvement activities and 5S. ISO 14001/TS
16949 knowledgeable. Create and update work instructions, as well as cross
training plans and maintain training records for all hourly team members.
Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and
the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs. Work in Microsoft
Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP.
