SELECTED RESEARCH PROJECTS:
Statistical Inference for Early Stage Detection of Diabetes (Team Member) Spring 2015
Analyzed human clinical data from different groups of people and fitted the logistic regression model to the data sets.
Applied parameter estimates from R outcome to the testing data set; found out whether each individual is likely to have diabetes or not.
Predicted the same group of people by using partial derivative function in Matlab; compared outcomes with those from R.
Washington DC Bike Share Program Data Analysis (Individual Project) Fall 2014
Combined Bike Share data including duration and stations from raw data of 2011 4 quarter and 2012 1 quarter using R.
th st
Conducted data cleaning by SAS and created new variables such as longitude of position for further analysis.
In R, compared data of the two quarters by time series plots and bar plots, and wrote functions to find out summary data of bike usage.
Mathematical Modeling of CO2 Transcritical Cycle (Team Leader) Fall 2013
Analyzed data from experiments using Latin Square by SAS; discovered optimal parameters for different treatments.
Conducted simulations of the evaporation process in CO2 refrigeration cycle based on facilities in lab using Matlab.
Programmed with Matlab and tested on facilities by changing different parameters to get response data.
