Attention to detail and ability to manipulate several of Capital One’s computer systems
simultaneously in order to access and input sensitive data. Adherence to regulatory constraints
and privacy concerns a must. Ability to multitask is vital to job completion. Empathy towards
grieving customers and ability to deal with many varied personalities is mandatory as well.

May 2005– October 2010-Media Consultant Verizon Yellow Pages, Idearc Media, SuperMedia
(respectively)
Worked as a business to business media consultant for small to medium or large size companies. I
used Verizon’s extensive database which at the time was 2nd only to the federal government. The
database had to be accessed through different computer programs, and contained information such
as consumer buying habits, trends, historical data, scientific advances in the way business use data
etc. These databases had to be accessed while conversing with potential clients and existing clients
to prove the worth of suggested advertising programs, which could include print, websites, search
engine optimizations, direct mail, and other programs which were meant to, improve the business
bottom line. Training for this position was extensive, and initially took 12 months, but was ongoing
with the addition of additional data.
- Sales Manager: Aon Corporation (Combined Insurance Co.)
Job entails interviewing, hiring and field training sales trainees for field. Submission of
week-to-week progress reports of production to Upper management and home office.
Goal oriented training of 12 man sales force, which included use of multi-tasking management
skills.
Responsible for overall success and training of sales force, production packages,
contracts, weekly communications with corporate offices for agent evaluation.

Aon Corporation, (Combined Insurance Company of America), is a multi-billion dollar 80
Year old Corporation, with corporate offices located in Chicago Illinois, Atlanta Georgia,
& Puerto Rico with branch offices located in all 50 states and overseas.
Job entailed successfully completing Combined’s17 week sales system training program.
Sales clients consisted of working with Combine’s 5 million plus business and residential
existing customer base, cold calls, setting appointments, development of business
presentations (power point and otherwise), meeting with business owners, developing
employee benefit packages for Doctor’s offices, Law firms, and many other business
and residential contacts.

Working with a number one company in the insurance industry in relation to employee
benefits. Establish customer base with cold calls, and face to face meetings with dep-
artment heads to maximize supplemental insurances available to employees and other
key individuals within an organization. Required use of state of the art computer software to enroll
groups and individuals for insurance coverage, as well as negotiate contracts with potential clients.

Six years working for a managed care organization at all levels of operations, from member
outreach, to my last position of Provider Services Representative. Extensive contact with provider
networks, including Hospitals, individual providers, specialist, DME Providers, Mental health
network, (was responsible for entire Mental health network Provider Services for Va. Premier
employer in addition to regular network services), health departments, and Community Services
Boards. Also skilled in network development, having developed networks in Fredericksburg,
Southwest Virginia, rural Virginia and currently Lynchburg and surrounding areas. Duties included
retention and renewal of Medical Practices and Doctors assigned in a specific territory. This
includes contract review and negotiations with Doctors and practices.

Job entailed working within a “clean room” environment, using computerized information systems
to analyze and detect defects within inner layer printed circuit boards. Responsible for improving
system processes that increased productivity.
Laboratory Technologist (Technologist A) A. H. Robins Co. Inc.
Responsible for correlation of test results with disease processes (if applicable) and problem
solving strategies, and along with quality assurance practices. Responsible for each process, from
collection and processing of specimens, to the performance of assays. Job duties included use of
sophisticated information systems, protocol development, and systematic recording of each
specific series of test completions. Responsibilities also included keeping abreast of current
analytical techniques with relation to completion of each project submitted to superiors.
Laboratory Technician (Technician A) A. H. Robins Co. Inc.
Increased Job responsibilities included developing protocols for testing experimental drugs and
drugs recalled by FDA or A.H. Robins and its subsidiaries. Development of prototypes of drug
delivery systems and investigations of recalls with precise recording of series testing results and
