WORK EXPERIENCE

I. Total experience 06 years. Two years working as Clinical

Coder, also performing various Responsibilities' Medical

Records Technician in Riyadh Care Hospital Riyadh, Saudi

Arabia since January 2009. Riyadh Care Hospital which is a

365 bedded hospital which is a Joint Commission International

Accredited (JCIA) Hospital.

1. Clinical Coder

o Daily Coding Out Patients Records

o Entering Daily Current In-Patients Diagnosis in the System

o Coding to all the Discharged In-Patients Medical Records by

using ICD-9CM in the System, and preparing case abstract

according to the Discharge Summary, Physician Orders &

Investigations.

o Merging the Double Files (Medical records)

o Preparing monthly Mortality Report.

o Maintaining accurate, neat files in a timely manner

o Generating the company reports

o Member in Monitoring Current Inpatient Documentation to

maintain JCIA standards

2. Medical Records Technician

Assembly & Analysis

. Process patient discharge documents

. review records for completeness,accuracy and compliance with

regulations

. Enter data, such as demographic characteristics, history and extent of

disease diagnostic procedures treatment into computer.

. Release information to persons and agencies according to regulations.

. Plan develop, maintain and operate a variety of health record indexes

and storage and retrieval systems to collect classify, storage and

analyze information.

. Manage the department and supervise clerical workers directing and

controlling activities of personnel in the M.R.D.

. Identify, complete, abstract and code patient day using standard

classification systems.

. Prepare statistical reports, narrative reports and graphic

presentations of information such as tumor registry data for use by

hospital staff,researchers,and other users

. Compile medical care and census data for statistical reports and

diseases treated surgery performed, and use of hospital beds.
