CAREER PROFILE
• Health/Safety/Environmental Manager with 16 plus years Safety Experience in
consulting/training and construction safety in Microchip/Semi-Conductor Plants, Chemical
Plants, Refineries, Power Plants, High rises, and Paper Mills. Experienced working with
DOT, OSHA 1910 and 1926, and MSHA working Copper & Gold mine open surface, also
working with Zurich for Workers Compensation. Worked with facilities and contractors to
insure minimum down time during critical upgrades to production tools and facilities.
Safety oversight for Micro chip production plant, demo, base-build and tool start-ups.
Contracted to perform Loss Control audits for large construction projects. Wrote job
hazard analysis (JHA) for small and large construction companies. Obtained air permits
from Dept. of Environmental Quality. Performed respirator fit testing and assisted with
environmental clean-ups. Conducted Pre-task Plan audits during Wafer Fab upgrades at
Intel (Ocotillo and Chandler sites). Initiated safety talks at mass safety meetings and present
tool box topics to field management for their crews. Have set up safety committees for
companies. Have been engaged in SOP, OPS, SLT and CIP meetings. (Intel Only) I have
done a lot of contract work or as a consultant for short term jobs for work, and have done a
lot of training outside of work. The longer jobs I was working as a direct hire which were
longer term.
Trainer –developed curriculum, executed training programs and maintained all required training
records.

• Chemical Safety - oversaw purchase, storage, usage and disposal. Supervised and trained
chemical handlers.
• Construction Safety–Training and audits for confined space entry, trenching, lock-out/tag-
out, fall protection, forklift, MEWP, JLG, SSTA training, OSHA 10 and 30 hr & safety
meetings
