Academically, I have a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and a
Master of Public Administration. In addition, I also completed 27 post
graduate hours of a Master of Science Radiologist Assistant's program with
extensive research in Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis and Age Appropriate
Conscious Sedation in MRI.
Professional administrative accomplishments applicable are:
. Established on-the-job training programs for military radiologic
technologists at National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) in Bethesda,
Maryland
. Designed ARRT exam study program (based on Charity Hospital's
Radiologic Technology curriculum)
. Implemented staff development program, ARRT military staff
certification went from less than 5% in 1988 (when I arrived at
NNMC), to 98% in 1999
. Established a 'Shadow' collaboration program between Edison
Healthcare Careers (Wheaton High School) and NNMC Bethesda 1993-1998
. Voted 'Best Anatomy Lecturer' by students six years in a row from
1993-1998
. Provided oversight, and strategic plan for staffing during major
military operations
. Received leadership awards to include, "Letter of Appreciation"
