PROJECT HANDLED
Development of Curved Edge grass cutter blades aim to develop a grass cutter blade by improving the
effectiveness in terms of the time of cutting if not, equal to the performance of the commercial ones and to have
lesser cost than the commercial blade. In the development of cutter blade, the factors to be considered in the
fabrication assembly, the different types of grass, the appropriate number of wings, the effectiveness of blades
with the curved edge, the cutting time covered, the cost were determined and specified.
Based on the result and performance of the curved edge grass cutter blade, the researcher conclude
that the prototype develop was effective in terms of time of cutting than the commercial model also the
researcher also conclude that the commercial blade has higher cost when purchased than the curved edge
cutter blade. After thorough evaluation and analysis, the researcher recommend to the local farmers to use the
curved edge cutter blade to save effort, money and also our environment.
