Automation and Electrical Technician September 2014 to Present
Based in the Lovington Field Office, I work in the Buckeye, Maljamar, and
Hobbs oilfields. Responsible for the installation and maintenance of Lufkin
pump off controllers, variable frequency drives, and electrical control
panels. Write Near Miss reports, HEROS, and focused audits. Responsible for
ordering and paying for parts and equipment that are required for the
complete operation of ConocoPhillips facilities and oilfields.
Electronics/Electrical Technician Contractor January 2009 to September 2013
In the countries of Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. I was responsible for the
repair and maintenance of different types of military equipment. For
example, 5KW-10KW portable generators in the Iraq theater of operations.
Traveled to different sites for reliability inspections, generated reports
on findings and followed up with ordering of parts and carried out repairs.
Repaired electronic acoustic sensor array for PGSS/PTDS surveillance
system. Maintained inventory, and logistics of UTAMS systems for all U.S.
Military camps in northern Afghanistan.
Operated and maintained KU band satellite links using Firebird analyzer and
spectrum analyzer. Installed satellite earth terminals, power generation,
air conditioning, grounding and UPS systems in satellite earth station

Electronics Technician June 2008 to December 2008, Canrig Drilling Ltd.,
Magnolia Texas
Was responsible for all aspects of computer controlled oil drilling
equipment. Installed, tested, and ensured that all remote sensor and
monitoring equipment was working. Installed new software ensured satellite
communications were working. Trained employees on new equipment.
Electronics/Electrical Technician Contractor January 2007 to June 2008
Designed and built high/low voltage power systems in supported of
customers. Conducted site surveys for construction. Followed up to insure
proper installation. Wrote specifications for generators, automatic
transfer switches, and fuel tanks from site survey date.
Received 120 classroom hours training on Counter Improvised Explosive
Device and the installation configuration and use of the Chameleon Radio
Frequency Jamming system currently being used by United States Marine Corps
in Iraq. Did electronic testing and trouble shooting on jamming devices.
