Electrical Designer/Shop Liason. Designed and developed electrical
schematics for various boiler feed tank applications according to customer
specifications that included boiler feed level and pressure controllers
using 4-20mA signals from differential pressure transmitters, pressure
transmitters. Developed PLC schematics for critical fuel oil applications.
Developed design packages for fabrication and assembly of electrical
panels providing schematics for wiring, panel layouts for assembly and
supporting documents to support final UL inspection. Duties also included
creating fabrication schedules for electrical panel shop to maintain
timely production to support completion of boiler feed systems at customer
time lines of final product delivery. Maintained fabrication history of
electrical panels for scheduling of similar panel fabrication to reduce
production time on panels. All requirements for motor protection and
control circuits of systems performed within guidelines provided by the NEC
and UL508A.
Aerotek, Inc.-Chesapeake, VA August 2012 -
July 2013 Foley Material Handling - Electrical Design Contractor, designed
and developed electrical schematics for the electrification of heavy
lifting overhead cranes. Developed drawings to meet production schedules
for construction of cranes and electrification.
Georgia Pacific - Electrical Design Contractor. Designed electrical
schematics for gate access safety system to large paper roll machines.
Drawings were complete and exceeded customer expectations and filing Bill
of Material ahead of time for manufacturing of equipment and upgrades. All
design performed with diligence and attention to detail to follow customer
specifications and compliance with NEC standards for cranes, safety
requirements for paper mill paper machines in accordance with
NFPA70(National Electrical Code) and OSHA. Have used Promis-E and
AutoCAD for electrical schematic development and Bill of Material
generation. Successfully designed cranes and safety products to meet
production schedules.
