Laboratory Engineer Technician
Perform, assist and support Engineer - with standard quality control testing of well stimulation and/ or cementing fluid systems and additives to verify system design, basic additive selection and design of stimulation or cementing systems, preparation, operation of lab equipment in accordance with company standards.
Perform and design various types of slurries including light weight, heavy weight, Anti gas migration Design Spacers and conducting various tests including mud, spacer and cement compatibilities.
Conduct tests such as API Rheologies, Thickening time, Compressive Strength and Fluid Loss. Operate various equipment of cement Lab including HPHT consistometer (iPRO Control System) Ultrasonic Cement analyzer (UCA), Atmospheric Consistometer, Viscometer etc.
Possess expertise in selection and using of oil well cements and chemicals /additives, used in cementing jobs.
Cementing technology, oil and gas analysis, water analysis, loss prevention Calibration and Maintenance of Cementing and Drilling Laboratory Equipment’s including HPHT Consistometer, UCA (Ultrasonic Cement Analyzer), Controllers (Temperature and Pressure), Curing Chamber, High Speed Mixer.
Present the documentation and reporting of laboratory results, knowledge management tools for systems being tested, pre-tested and pre-job tasks as needed in preparation for providing analytical support to actual operations.
