PROJECTS:

THIRD YEAR PROJECT: SPACE ELEVATOR

It is a cable which could connect the earth with a fixed structure in outer space.It is a proposal structure designed to transport material from a celestial body’s surface into space.A space elevator for earth would consist of a cable anchored to the earth’s surface, reaching into space.

FINAL YEAR PROJECT:“Automatic Twilight Photometer”

It is a device used to calculate the types of aerosols particles in the atmosphere. Its Main components are Iris, Lens, Filter and PMT. The main Focus in the project is Iris Design and its working mechanism, design of filter and outer casing. Iris acts as shutter allowing light rays to pass through it which is directed on lens and filter. It is a mechanical component consisting of petals whose opening and closing will control the amount of light intensity. Its design and manufacturing are the main points of consideration in our project.
