Qualification Summary:

Excess of 13 years experience as an instrument engineer, responsible for engineering and design activities in phase 1 to phase 4 of minor to major scale of EPC projects in Refinery, Petrochemical and Polymer industries.

Essential Duties:

Develop instrument and control section of specification for detail engineering documents. Provide cost estimation to project engineers. communicate with vendors to determine applicability of products, develop detailed equipment specification to ensure all necessary equipment drawings and vendor provided services are identified and detailed.

Evaluate vendor bids for conformance to specification and recommends appropriate vendor to purchasing.

Review and approve instrument and control design packages.

Provide technical support to the maintenance instrument supervisors and technicians.

Provide technical help to investigate equipment and system failure and recommend corrective action. Ability to troubleshoot instrument system.

FEED Design, Detail Design, Scheduling, I&C support to deliverables, Provide instrument drawings such as Data sheets, Instrument Hook-Up drawing, P&ID development, Control philosophy as well as cause and effect diagram, PLC Hardware configuration, Instrument index, Instrument I/O list. Knowledge on Tank Gauging, custody transfer units, PHA and LOPA studies. Squad check of vendor data and drawings from other disciplines.

Familiar with standards such as ISA, API, IEC, NFPA and engineering units.

Experienced on DCS, ESD, Profibus, HART, Fieldbus, Analyzers, BMS, F&G, Hazardous area classification also involved with SAT and FAT in medium and large scale of projects.

Experienced on Fisher Specification Management, INTOOLS, ISO9000 and Six Sigma.

Yokogawa CS3000, Prosafe RS. DEC.2008

Maintenance and calibration course in Thailand (SCG Group), Extruder training in Kobel CO (Japan) and Bayer Material Science (Germany).

Jacobs Engineering as Sr. Instrument Engineer March 2014 to June 2015

provide FEED design, P&ID development, Data sheet preparation, Instrument Index and I/O list generation also cause and effect diagram development.

Assist with process engineers to generate basis of design and functional Spec documents also prepare E/I construction scope of work.

Provide BID package and assist with procurement team to find qualified vendors and track items which have been placed ordered.

Provide field support during Engineering, Field fabrication, commissioning and plant start-up.

Fully involved with design, procurement and installation of instrumentation.

Create requisitions to quotation and procure instrument stuffs, considering vendor document to create work procedure.
