Job Description & Skills

Mechanical

Do blinding and re blinding works on equipments such as heat exchanger, columns, reactors, vessels, pumps and valves as per blind list.

Pull out and reinstall of pumps and electric motor, valves and instrument device.

Do hydro testing works.

Perform routine checkup of plant process equipment and facilities.

Perform trouble shooting, overhauling, aligning, adjusting and servicing.

Perform welding and fabrication works as necessary for the repair and maintenance of all equipment and accessories in the plant.

Determines defective parts of the equipment during regular or scheduled overhauling or breakdown.

Install and check alignment of new installed motor including motor vibration and bearing temperature.

Servicing of defective motors and pumps.

Servicing and cleaning of trays of columns during annual plant shutdown.

Repair and servicing of heat exchangers.

Hydro testing of pipes and valves.

Conduct minor repair and major adjustment on plant equipment and accessories.

Install additional pumps, tank pipes and all associated equipment during upgrading the plant.

Layout of lateral or punching of materials for cutting, foaming of elbow, tie and different kinds of valve. Check correct dimension for cutting.

Rewind different types of electrical motor such as compressor motor, evaporator fan motor, condenser fan motor, etc.

Coordinate with colleagues and subordinates for scheduling of daily, weekly, monthly, bi annually and yearly planned preventive maintenance activities/ task.

Steel Erector

Coordinate to supervisor/ engineer for any resources needed for the execution of the work.

Segregate materials like bolts and steel structures.

Modification of wrong fabricated materials.

Fabrication works and welding.

Rigging and banksman.
