Deliverables/Responsibilities:

PLANT MAINTENANCE

Responsible for performing current state analysis, defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation.

SAP PM Configuration that includes Preparing of Planner Groups, Technical Objects, Plant Section, Planner Groups, Locations and configuration of Order Types. Creation of Functional Locations, Equipment and BOMs for General and Breakdown Maintenance, for both UNIT-I & UNIT-II.

Email alert system developed while notifications created into SAP, system sends auto generated email to respective departments, whenever new notification entered.

Plant Maintenance mail triggered for pending preventive orders exceeding 30 days.

For Equipment, developed additional BOM quantity check (to raise purchase requisition), other than BOM quantity.

Spare parts procurement and consumption locking into PM system, it allows procurement and consumption only against PM orders. Configuration done on Procurement / Consumption posting not allowed if spare part is not register for Equipment. Reservation/Indent quantity cannot be higher than spare part BOM quantity. Also, pending PM Order categorization i.e. Permit not issued, spare part shortage & man power not available for MIS purpose & daily reviewed.

PM Purchase requisition cum decision print-out generated with all details regarding the material i.e average life, budget, last procured vendor etc.

4.MTTR & MTBF Analysis – Mean time to repair and Mean time between failure analysis

5.Shutdown Maintenance & linking PM activity with Shutdown Maintenance.

Alert for AML Plant maintenance pending orders developed - Alert generated on regular basis for the pending PM orders past 30 days. In addition, Z-report ZPMPLAN developed for AML Preventive Maintenance - The AML Z-report displays plan category, planner groups, equipment, tasklist with operations, counters, plans and text, cycle ant unit etc.

Condition based Maintenance implemented by creating Measuring Point with reference to Equipment or Functional location. The Unit of Measurement for Measuring Point is to be created first, also, Measuring Point Category is to be segregated. Tolerance limit (upper limit or lower limit for each Measuring point) provided. Use "IMRC0001" User Exit, this will trigger a notification if measuring document value is exceeded then tolerance limit maintained in Measuring point. Checking the notification through IW22 and then follow the Preventive Maintenance process.

MRP configured based on consumption based planning. Re-ordering Point defined based on safety stock, replenishment lead time and average consumption. Manual re-ordering point determined by MRP controller, by using indicator VB, when the quantity less than the re-order value, procurement triggered. Similarly, the automatic re-ordering is system configured and works on the forecast.

Settlement profile is set after performing a check for the assignment of order type to the settlement rule in SPRO, settlement rule time defined and distribution rule created. The settlement profile created (CO module). Then this settlement profile is attached to all the order types maintained for the particular plant.

In PM, MTBR - Mean Time Between Repair and MTTR - Mean Time To Repair

was calculated or observed in IW39 (PM orders list), then using t-code MCJB, equipment wise (monthly statistics) generated.

PROJECT SYSTEM

In APNRL Project UNIT-I & II, configuration i.e Project Profiles, Budget Profiles etc. and alignment WBS/Network/Activity set-up as per the need, in discussion with Project, Material and Finance team. Budget functionality implemented into SAP, budget data input into the SAP system and managing the Release Control. For, Phase-II (Unit-3 and Unit-4) – Project system WBS and other PS working put in plan into SAP. WBS/Network master data support for MP Super Thermal Project (JSR), Stage-2.

Other Site projects:-

oBalumath project, complete PS setup including Project creation, WBS/ Network profile set-up, Budget set-up with commitment verification.

oAAPL SMS PLANT ENHANCEMENT has been created in plant 4000 JSR-ENH-0001 project has been created with WBS, Network and Activity. Budget availability and Release control activated.

oNew project "ROURKELA SUPER DRI PROJECT - RKL-DRI-0004" created.

SAP Up-gradation from ECC5 to ECC6:

The complete check of Project System database of different locations projects, with proper functioning of all PS related t-codes and no inconsistencies observed. The Project Master Data un-altered with verification of budget, release control, cost and commitment. Values generated in reports aligned.

Training provided on Project System awareness- general overview and understanding on WBS/Network master data and on Pre-Operative re-alignment.

MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT & DOCUMENTATION

SOPs created for Vendor, Customer, Employee and Assets.
