ABS SENSOR BRACKET – Product Updation

An ABS sensor is supported on the axle by a bracket proximate to the toothed wheel to detect the rotation of the wheel hub.

The earlier ABS sensor bracket is typically a solid piece of machined metal that is expensive to manufacture.

So, modified the product with a sheetmetal bracket which comprises of:

A body defining a hole receiving an ABS sensor adjacent the toothed wheel,

A pedestal extending from the body and terminating in a base extending transversely

Reinforcing ribs proposed between the base and pedestal to strengthen the area.

Client: Brakes India, Chennai.

DOOR RELEASE ARM – Product Updation

In the existing door release mechanism, the intermediate stop is configured with manual method to defeat its full open position.

In-order to overcome this problem, developed a tab feature for easy single finger actuation to push the sliding push button.

The door release arm is updated as per the specifications offered by the design engineer and respective detailing generated with CATIAV5.
