I have over six years of experience conducting audits and financial analysis, planning, and reporting for telecom and technology companies. My employers have ranged from large telecom carriers to small start-ups to third party firms. In my roles I have been responsible for auditing, forecasting, and reporting up to several million dollars in monthly financials. My previous duties included creating a variety of financial reports covering cost of goods sold, margin analysis, and month end close. Business Analyst, General Electric PSTN Optimization, 10/2014

Business Analyst assigned exclusively to GE Oil & Gas to perform PSTN Optimization Projects (GPOP) at sites outside of North America. Overall objective was to transition from traditional analog networks to ethernet based VoIP networks in order to unify communications, enable central connectivity, and host communications on GE’s cloud platform via the current WAN setup. My role was to work with GE resources at each site to evaluate the financial impact of the transition.

Performed audit of service records and contracts to identify circuits/hardware to be decommissioned or retained based on site needs and local carrier capabilities.

Worked with current carriers/providers to cut and transfer service and with engineers at GE to perform changes to inside wiring, PBXs, and end user terminals where applicable.

Analyzed and projected the cost savings created from unified voice and data communications.

Integrated findings into reports for the larger GCOM project.
