PROJECTS: Tetris 07/2014-09/2014

Personal software project developed using Java.

Based on famous video game, The Tetris. The project included 7 kinds of Tetriminos, and the purpose is to

clear every line that is fully filled.

Due to the difficulty of design, I adapted it by setting an initial position of each kind of the Tetriminos to

make it simpler, so that the same Tetrimino will start to move from the same position, but the order was

totally randomized.

Local Chat Room 03/2014 - 05/2014

Collaborated with peers to develop using Java.

Built a local chat room with server end on the computer to receive massages sent from client end on users’

cellphones via WLAN. When a message was sent via customer end(s), the computer will receive the words

immediately.

In particular, I created the server end, using SOCKET library and designed UI of it.

Tic-Tac-Toe 05/2014-05/2014

Programmed using C++.

The goal is to finish a 3*3 grid with two players, represented as X and O. The player who succeeds in

placing three respective marks in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row wins the game.

I added the mechanism to announce the winner by listing out all the potential ways to win and putting every

possibility into the codes using switch structure.
