Objective

Looking for a dynamic office to enhance my skills and experience. I have been a medical assistant/healthcare administrative for over eighteen years and have learned from billing to referrals. I am flexible and bi-lingual. Looking forward in working in an office that will allow me to use my skills and experience as a past supervisor of three clinics. Qualifications

Vista Health System (April 21, 2008 to present) duties are managing the lab and all supplies and injections.

Also injections, venipuntures, vitals, any in house testing, prepare lab specimen pickups, and any reports that are receive for patients. Call in medication refills, make appointments, and help office manager with billing and computer detail, referrals, am currently a biller and medical coder and have many years in billing and terminology, in the process of auditing doctor’s charts.

Affinity Healthcare (June 23, 2003 to 3/9/2008) duties are dexa scan, pulmonary function test, referrals, charge entry, medical records, Misys and Athena health computer system, vitals, injections, appointment venipunture, ekg, work with internist, help with the office manager with administrative task such as office bill, balancing end of day service.

Anderson Medical Center, (Feb. 12, 2007 to 12/5/2007) duties includes venipunture, injections, ekg, prepare labs, make appointments, call in meds, retrieve labs and any other reports needed, vitals, pulse ox, translate, ear lavage, chartless entry, autoclave, work with pediatric, family, internist, in addition, supervised three clinics and medical assistant. I also work for them in 3/12/2000 to 5/2003

University of Phoenix completed online classes to obtain an associate degree in Healthcare Administration in March 2008; bachelor degree in same will be completed in December 2011.
