CON WAY TRUCKING – Calexico, CA
Design/build 50,000 sf green field cargo cross dock facility for Con Way. Project Management responsibility for construction and supply chain validation. ($14M)
PUNTA COLONET – Baja California
Project Manager for the Feasibility Study of a 6,000,000 TEU Container Port to be built below Ensenada BC, Did both Operational and Master Planning for the $5 Billion port and intermodal facility. Included logistic study with Southern Pacific RR.
THOMSON MEDIA (RCA) – Mexicali, Mexico
Project consisted of relocating a complete production line for manufacturing large TV tubes from a 1,000,000 sq. ft. plant in Scranton PA, to a new facility in Mexico. Second phase included setting the line up and running certified production and establishing Supply Chain process with US Customs. ($3M)

INTEL – Los Piedras, Puerto Rico
Project Engineer responsible for the conceptual design, detail design, specification development, Project Manager for installation and commissioning of a large, automated warehouse, and associated material handling systems, for micro-electronic components and assemblies. System included Unit load and Mini load AS/RS, AGV delivery, and an inventory management system for both in-process and finished goods. As part of the MRP requirements, developed a Supply Chain process within the Caribbean Islands. ($11M)
INTEL – Chandler, Arizona/Penang, Malaysia
First contract engineer to received Intel award for saving over $1,000,000 as Project Engineer responsible for the conceptual design, detail design, specification development, bid and award process. Selected supplier progress review, installation and commissioning at site, of the first SAP directed, Distribution Center in Penang, Malaysia. Assisted in the development of unique packaging designs for delicate components and assemblies both internally and externally. Equipment included special conveyor, processing and inspection lines, storage and handling systems. Was requested by Intel Management to write a descriptive “Supply Chain” article for publishing in Fortune magazine.

Project Management responsible for the start-up and commissioning of the Automated Material Handling Systems including AS/RS, AGV, Conveyor, and related SAP control systems for the largest concentrate plant ever built. ($300M) Received outstanding letter of praise for work done.

Project Manager for the design development, procurement, testing, and site implementation of robotic cells for the TRW Space Division electronics assembly laboratories. For the first time, using an Adept high precision platform, multi leaded devices were assembled and attached with 4-mil accuracy. Special tooling and attachment processes were developed and implemented. Cells were installed in Class 100 clean room environments.

Directly responsible for the Divisions marketing and sales effort reporting directly to the President. Served as a member of the senior management planning team. Held accountable for $1.75 million department budget. Increased sales from $2 million to $33 million first 12 months while reducing budget requirements by $500,000.
